Reception at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia

At the invitation of Uzbekistan's Ambassador to the Russian Federation Botirjon Asadov the General Director of the Caspian Institute of Strategic Studies Igor Korotchenko took part in the official reception on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At present, Uzbekistan is an important trade and economic partner of Russia. It is related both to the policy of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev who has been consistently pursuing the course towards cooperation and interaction with Russia in a number of various spheres and to the growing role of Tashkent in the Central Asia region.

The subject matter of Uzbekistan is an important segment in the research conducted by the CISS.

Among the Russian officials who attended the reception at the Embassy of Uzbekistan was Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Galusin.
