3rd International Scientific Forum Caspian Region 2023: Sustainable Development Trajectories

Within the framework of information and analytical support for decision-making regarding the Russian Federation’s turn towards the East, Igor Korotchenko, the  General Director of the Caspian Institute for Strategic Studies, gave a presentation at the 3rd International Scientific Forum Caspian Region 2023: Sustainable Development Trajectories that took place in Astrakhan.

«The Caspian region is becoming crucial for the Russian Federation today, especially from the viewpoint of transportation logistics, exports and imports. The International North–South Transport Corridor is the basis for the sustainable functioning of the Russian economy amid the large-scale Western sanctions imposed against our country», Igor Korotchenko stressed at the plenary session titled «New Opportunities and Priorities for Sustainable Development of the Caspian Region».
